Looking down from on top of the world.Watching life as it slowly unfolds. Sleepless eyes awake. Wishing for a better day. Take them back to the place where their dreams are. Dead eyes open to the world but we can't see past our own. Free falling into this world from all the voices calling your name. Why bother living a lie for those who hold you down? Their twisted tongue of lies are the source of corruption. We can reshape our lives as long as we are content with the path that we've chosen. Dividing minds into a world that lives without eyes. Their words render us blind as we swallow their lies. Illusions that we fear cannot constrain our minds.
But still we swallow their lies. So tell me Why bother living a lie for those who hold you down? Their twisted tongue of lies are the source of corruption. We can reshape our lives. As long as we are content with the path that we've chosen. I am the architect of my own solace. I am a dreamer in the void of self discovery.
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
