Traced from a lesson not learned. Remaining silent as my voice unheard. Spending time searching in the dark. Finding depths in myself. Unseen. Discover loss as this journey unfolds. Taking steps in this place. Unknown.
Emotions coursing through my veins. A dark space consumes my mind.
I tried to tell myself that things would soon be brighter but my desperate shouts left me lost in this place. Unknown. I walk the narrow halls of my empty mind. Adapting to a place that leaves me breathless. Travelling through the valleys of my own corrupted mind. There is no sense of serenity. No fragments of me remain. So please just stay with me. I cannot do this myself. I've just needed you here with me to guide the way. I've just needed you here with me to help me to my feet. There's pain inside of me. These are the only thoughts in my empty mind. Speechless from the thoughts with nothing to reside.These are the only thoughts in my empty mind...

Looking down from on top of the world.Watching life as it slowly unfolds. Sleepless eyes awake. Wishing for a better day. Take them back to the place where their dreams are. Dead eyes open to the world but we can't see past our own. Free falling into this world from all the voices calling your name. Why bother living a lie for those who hold you down? Their twisted tongue of lies are the source of corruption. We can reshape our lives as long as we are content with the path that we've chosen. Dividing minds into a world that lives without eyes. Their words render us blind as we swallow their lies. Illusions that we fear cannot constrain our minds .
But still we swallow their lies. So tell me Why bother living a lie for those who hold you down? Their twisted tongue of lies are the source of corruption. We can reshape our lives. As long as we are content with the path that we've chosen. I am the architect of my own solace. I am a dreamer in the void of self discovery.

The deepest thoughts. The thoughts the hide beneath our skin reveal the empty mass within our minds. Paralysis of minds. The deepest thoughts. They grow inside our minds. "Destined for collapse. Destined for defeat".
I just can't seem to find the strength to decline the fear of reality. Darkened mind. Reveal the mask that binds your thoughts, leading you to apathy.
Self inflicting my agony and it fills my bottled mind. "Where do we go when there's no strength left to find?" No longer will I stand for this. I will not let the pain inside my mind define my steps in life. We hide this apathy and it creates the vices in our minds. We must rebuild our lives.

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly. Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant.
